Northern Kentucky roots
Growing up in NKY, Tyesha saw neighborhood leaders doing the work without always receiving recognition. That shaped her belief that everyday people can move a community forward.

Kenton County
Globally minded. Locally focused. Running to make Covington more connected, affordable, and community first.

Tyesha grew up in Northern Kentucky watching neighborhood heroes do the work that keeps communities together. Those examples shaped her belief that service does not have to wait for a title, and that local government should recognize the people already showing up.
She brings a background in communication, public relations, political science, creativity, and community organizing to this race. At NKU, she has studied how clear communication can move people from feeling ignored to feeling included.
Tyesha believes government should meet people where they are. For Covington, that means better connection between neighborhoods, income-aligned housing, youth spaces, fair taxes, and development that includes Latonia, South Covington, and every community at the table.
