Community infrastructure
Family-focused development, a stronger community center, teen youth spaces, and more opportunities for intergenerational engagement.

Covington, Kentucky
Connected. Affordable. Community first. Time to do the work for the community.

Meet Tyesha
Tyesha Gordon is running for Covington City Council to focus on the everyday systems that decide whether families can build a stable life here: housing, transportation, youth spaces, fair taxes, and development that includes the whole city.
Her writing on House Bill 5 argued against dehumanizing people in crisis and for policy that sees the full person. That same conviction guides this campaign: listen first, tell the truth, and do the work for the community.
Priorities
Family-focused development, a stronger community center, teen youth spaces, and more opportunities for intergenerational engagement.
If we want Covington to thrive, we have to connect it. Latonia and South Covington deserve reliable transit, walkable access, and a real voice in new development.
A fair tax structure should protect working families and scale with income, so city growth does not leave everyday people carrying the heaviest load.
Workforce housing for hospitality workers, public service workers, and families who keep Covington running should be part of the city plan.
If we want our city to thrive, we have to connect it.
Latonia and South Covington are often left out of the conversation. Accessibility and reliable public transportation are vital for our city and for new development.
